Bomb Harvest was produced by Red Lamp Films (formerly Lemur Films), the company established by director/writer Kim Mordaunt and producer/writer Sylvia Wilczynski. Their focus is to make dynamic, moving, cinematic films, which are entertaining and accessible to a wide international audience.

They have made highly acclaimed award-winning fiction and documentary for theatrical release, and for ABC TV, SBS TV and Discovery, funded by Screen Australia/Australian Film Commission/Film Finance Corporation, Screen New South Wales, private and philanthropic investment and distributor and broadcaster pre-sales. Their films have screened at over 60 international film festivals and events, and been distributed theatrically and on TV in most territories.

Kim Mordaunt made his first documentary 45 Years is Enough, during the fall of the Iron Curtain in Bulgaria, and then directed and shot long-form documentaries for ABC and SBS TV (Australia) and Discovery (including Copyrites, Survival, Speed City).

His first drama short Mongrel’s Ghost (15 min) was invited to festivals including Los Angeles, Sydney, Bilbao and Sao Paulo. His one-hour drama for SBS TV, Jammin’ in the Middle E, was called “revealing, delightful, beguiling, brilliant” by The Australian.

Kim and Sylvia have recently made their first narrative feature film, The Rocket, in 2013, which has won 45 awards, including three at the Berlin International Film Festival (Best Debut Feature, Crystal Bear and Amnesty International Film Prize), three at Tribeca (Best Narrative Feature, Best Actor and the Audience Award) and audience awards at over 10 film festivals including Sydney, Melbourne and the World Cinema Audience Award at AFI Fest LA.

It also won Best Film at the Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards, Best Original Screenplay at the Australian Writers’ Guild Awards and Best Director at the Australian Directors’ Guild Awards. It received a 100% positive score on Rotten Tomatoes. The Rocket has received distribution in over 20 countries including the US, Canada, UK and Australia.

Red Lamp Films is currently developing the fiction features Pink Mist (with assistance from Screen Australia) and Flowers of the Dead, by writer/director Kim Mordaunt, producer Sylvia Wilczynski. Kim is also to direct the feature One Crowded Hour, based on the acclaimed book of the same name by Tim Bowden, about iconic Australian war cinematographer Neil Davis (writer Andy Cox, producers Todd Fellman, Lance Kelleher, and Sylvia Wilczynski).
